鞭牛士快讯，8月23日报道，谷歌已任命前初创公司 Character.AI 负责人、之前长期担任谷歌研究员的 Noam Shazeer 共同领导其主要 AI 项目。

该公司在给员工的备忘录中表示，Shazeer 将担任 Gemini 的技术主管，与其他联合主管 Jeff Dean 和 Oriol Vinyals 一起任职。

Gemini 是谷歌人工智能部门 DeepMind 正在开发的一系列人工智能模型，这些模型正在被集成到Search和Pixel 智能手机等产品中。
